Saints Use Six Of Nine Picks On Defense

It is interesting how the so called experts are rushing to pin a franchise grade on the recently completed 2015 NFL Draft. Each of the 256 drafted players had their college performances evaluated, and were put through multiple in person testing (NFL Combine and school pro days) to determine if their skill sets and individual makeup would qualify them as a league member. Any grade can be assigned to teams now. The accurate answer will come three or four years from now when the professional body of work of the drafted players can be scrutinized and evaluated. Winston Mariota Top Choices In NFL Draft

Although a couple Collins families would strongly disagree, the first day of Chicago’s 2015 NFL Draft went pretty much as prognosticators expected. The nation’s two top collegiate quarterbacks, Florida State’s Jameis Winston and Oregon’s Marcus Mariota, were selected first and second, respectively, and the league’s 32 teams put their scouting and evaluation process into action mode as franchise needs were addressed based on player rankings.
