The inaugural College Football Playoff season kicked off last week with a lot of fanfare and anticipation. Starting this year, teams will be playing to ensure they are definitely in college football’s version of the Final Four come late December. Gone will be the unbecoming sports information campaigns to support certain teams and leagues, and coaches brazenly politicking for their own squads. Hopefully.

Football Version of Final Four Should Be Interesting

College football programs across the country are preparing themselves to enter the College Football Playoff National Championship (CFP) era in three weeks. The ultimate goal for each school will still be to grasp that hard-earned national championship trophy after the season’s last game in January, 2015, but the process will be different, the prized trophy will be different, and programs, players, and fans will all have to make various adjustments to the new system.
